5 Year Etsy-Versary Sale

This week marks the 5 year anniversary of my Etsy shop.  Lots of things have happened in the last five years:  I quit my day job, bought a house, got married, wrote an ebook, taught classes online, taught my first in person workshop, signed my first licensing contracts, started getting freelance jobs and illustrated my first childrens book(which will be out next month!).  

A lot of good stuff has happened in the last five years just because I was brave enough to open a little Etsy shop and put a few pieces of art in it.  I've grown into a much better artist since those first tiny paintings landed in my shop.  And my shop has grown from selling just a few small things a month to having nearly 6,000 sales.  It's all kind of amazing.  

And it's all because of lovely people like you, who buy my work and follow along at this blog or elsewhere.  So thanks a bunch!
